Unibic doughnut

  • 20 nos unibic cookies ( any flavour)

  • 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cups milk

  • 1/4 cups melted butter

  • 1 tsp dry yeast

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 cups chocolate syrup

  • 3 tbsp sprinkles


  • Grind the cookies into fine powder. You can use cookies of any flavour , here I had used Kesar Cashew badam flavour.
  • In a bowl , add ground cookie powder, all purpose flour, powdered sugar, salt and yeast and mix well.
  • Now add melted butter and milk and knead into a soft dough. You can add more flour if the dough is sticky.
  • Spread little oil to the dough surface and keep it covered for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour, you will see that the dough has become fluffy.
  • Now take the whole dough and roll it into thick round shape of atleast 1 cm thickness.
  • Take a medium sized bowl which has a sharp edge , press it into the dough and take it off. You will get a big circle.
  • Now for the centre indentation, use a small bottle cap and press it and remove it.
  • Repeat this and make rest of the doughnuts.
  • Separate the remaining dough and re use it to make it again.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, keep the flame to medium and deep fry the doughnuts.Drain and keep aside.
  • Take the chocolate syrup in a bowl, dip one surface of doughnut into the chocolate syrup and arrange it in a plate.
  • Sprinkle the edible sprinkles on top of the chocolate surface and serve.
