Ingredients
Serves 4
Roasted and unsalted peanuts 1 cups
Dry fruits (almond, walnut, pistachio, cashew nuts according to your preference) 1 1/2 cups
Sesame Seeds 1 cups
Jaggery,grated 350 gms
Honey 1/4 cups
Pure Ghee 2 tbsp
Directions
Heat a heavy bottom pan on medium heat. Dry roast sesame seeds till start popping and turned in pink colour.
Take out from pan and cool it down in fan air.
Take grinder jar with vegetable chopper blade. Put all dry fruits, peanuts, sesame seeds one by one and grind as coarsely powder.
Divide this powder in two parts.
Now take one portion of powder in grinder jar. Add half portion of jeggery, honey and grind again for one minute or till started collecting together. If it doesn't look like this add little more quantity of jeggery / honey according to your preference and grind for 1 minute.
Repeat this process with rest ingredients.
Combined both mixture together and mix very well.
Now take a modak frame. Grease with little ghee and make modak with the help of hands.
If you don't have modak frame ; put little ghee on palm and shape it like laddoo with the help of hands.
Keep modak / laddoo in a airtight jar.
Enjoy healthy modak with hot milk / like this only according to your preference.
