Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 bowls bajra coarsely grounded


  • 1 bowls moth whole


  • 1 1/2 litre water


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder


  • 3 nos onions


  • 2 nos chopped tomatoes


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 nos chopped green chilli


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder


  • 1 bowls dry fruits like almonds, cashew, black raisins and pistachios

Directions

  • Wash bajra and moth. Soak them for about 15 minutes by mixing them.
  • Take a pressure cooker. Add water in it . Allow the water to boil .
  • when water starts boiling, add presoaked bajra and moth mix in it .
  • Add salt and cinnamon powder. Sti it for sometime, then close pressure cooker with a lid and allow whistles to blow for 15 minutes
  • Now meanwhile take a pan and add ghee in it .
  • Add onions, sauté it for a while, add tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Sauté it for sometime so that fresh aroma spreads.
  • Add dry spices followed by dry fruits and sauté them for sometime.
  • Now this dry fruits tadka is ready. Pour it on the cooked bajra moth khichadi.
