Ingredients

  • FOR BASE: Rolled oats 1 1/2 cups

  • Oats flour 1/2 cups

  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp

  • Kosher salt 1/4 tsp

  • Lemon zest 1 tsp

  • ripe banana, mashed 1 nos

  • Honey 1/4 cups

  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp

  • Vegetable oil 2 tbsp

  • ROSE JAM: fresh rose petals, coarsely grind 1 cups

  • Organic honey 1/4 cups

  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

  • Chia seeds 2 tbsp

  • Water 1/2 cups

  • FOR TOPPING: rolled oats 1 cups

  • Oil 2 tbsp

  • Honey 2 tbsp

Directions

    Preheat oven to 180 C. Line a 8*8" baking pan with parchment paper.

    Mix all dry and wet ingredients mentioned for base. Spread into baking pan and press down tightly.

    Bake for 10 minutes.

    To prepare jam, boil water in a pan. Add rose petals and boil for 10 minutes. Add rest ingredients and cook again for 10-12 more minutes.

    In a bowl mix all the required ingredients for topping.

    Spoon rose jam over the base of oats bar. Sprinkle tipping mixture and press down lightly.

    Bake for another 25-30 minutes.

  • 08

    Remove from the oven. Let it cool completely and cut it into bars. Store in airtight container.
