Ingredients

Serves : 16
  • 1 1/2 cups for base: rolled oats


  • 1/2 cups oats flour


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt


  • 1 tsp lemon zest


  • 1 nos ripe banana, mashed


  • 1/4 cups honey


  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil


  • 1 cups rose jam: fresh rose petals, coarsely grind


  • 1/4 cups organic honey


  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 tbsp chia seeds


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 1 cups for topping: rolled oats


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 2 tbsp honey

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180 C. Line a 8*8" baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix all dry and wet ingredients mentioned for base. Spread into baking pan and press down tightly.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • To prepare jam, boil water in a pan. Add rose petals and boil for 10 minutes. Add rest ingredients and cook again for 10-12 more minutes.
  • In a bowl mix all the required ingredients for topping.
  • Spoon rose jam over the base of oats bar. Sprinkle tipping mixture and press down lightly.
  • Bake for another 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven. Let it cool completely and cut it into bars. Store in airtight container.
