Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups little millet


  • 1/4 cups urd dal


  • 1/4 cups thick poha


  • 1/4 cups rice


  • 2 tbsp rice flour


  • 1 tbsp methi seeds


  • 4 nos tomato chopped


  • 1 nos onion chopped


  • 1 tsp coriander seeds


  • 1 tsp cumin


  • 2-3 nos red chillies


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1/4 cups ghee and oil mixture


  • 1 cups water

Directions

  • Soak little millet in water for 5-6 hours.
  • Soak urd dal, thick poha, fenugreek seeds, rice separately in water for 2 hours.
  • Heat a pan and fry coriander seeds, cumin, red chilies for few seconds.
  • Add chopped onion and fry till transparent. Cool.
  • Take a mixer jar, grind together the soaked ingredients along with tomato cubes and fried masala. Fine batter is ready.
  • Add salt to the batter and mix well. Ferment the batter for 3-4 hours.
  • After fermentation add rice flour and mix well. If the batter is too thick, add little water and adjust the consistency.
  • Heat a dosa tawa, prepare thin dosa, apply ghee and oil mixture on dosa.
  • Cook till roast and serve hot with chutney of choice.
