Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups jawar flour


  • 1/2 cups wheat flour or atta


  • 1/4 cups besan


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp chili powder


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp carom seeds or ajawin


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/3 cups coriander leaves


  • 1 nos onion


  • 5-6 nos garlic

Directions

  • Take a bowl .add jowar,Wheat flour ,besan ,Salt,Turmeric and chili powder. Mix well
  • Now add chopped onion ,Coriander leaves,Garlic crushed. Again mix well.
  • Now add Water gradually and knead a smooth but stiff daugh. Cover it with damp cloth for 15 -20 mins.
  • Heat a tawa. Drizzle little oil.
  • Take a plastic or aluminium foil.grease it with little oil.
  • Take a medium size ball from daugh.put it on the greased foil/ plastic.
  • Spread it with the help of your palm. Do not roll it.
  • Carefully place dhapate on the hot tawa.brush little oil on both sides ..fry both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve dhapate with butter ,raw onion ,Garlic chutney whatever you like..
