Ingredients

Serves 4

  • broke wheat 1 cups

  • yellow lentil or red lentil 1-2 cups

  • ginger paste or grated 1/2 tbsp

  • salt 1 tbsp

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp

  • cumin powder 1-2 tbsp

  • coriander powder 1.2 tbsp

  • bay leaf 1 nos

  • green chilli 1 nos

  • fenugreek seeds 1/2 tbsp

  • water 3 cups

  • ghee 1 tbsp

  • oil 2 tbsp

  • chopped vegetables as ones wish 1 bowls

Directions

    Wash the lentil and broke wheat and keep aside

  • 02

    Heat a cooker with 2 tablespoon of oil

  • 03

    Temper fenugreek seeds in it and pour the washed wheat and lentil along with water in the cooker

  • 04

    Add all the ingredients in it except ghee

  • 05

    Add some chopped vegetables in it and cover it with the lid for 2 whistle in medium flame

  • 06

    Let it rest for sometime and open the lid

  • 07

    Serve hot with ghee
