Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 3 cups chopped beetroot


  • 3 nos green chilli


  • 2 nos curry leaves


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 3 nos small onions


  • 3 tsp coconut oil


  • 1/2 tsp mustard


  • 1/2 cups crushed coconut

Directions

  • Take a pan and place it on a burner.
  • Let the pan get hot. Then add coconut oil into the pan
  • When the oil get hot, add mustard, then add curshed onions, curry leaves and salt
  • When the onion becomes brown in colour, add beetroot, coconut and chilli. Stirr well.
  • Close the pan with a lid and after 5 minutes stirr it again.
  • After 5 minutes off the flame.
  • Now the thoran is ready to serve.
