Preheat oven to 180, line cake mould. Sieve dry ingredients keep it aside
Mix butter and sugar well. Add 1 egg at a time and blend using hand mixer until frothy
Add dry ingredients slowly, cut and fold gently until well combined
Add half of chopped walnuts and use remaining for decorating. If frosting cake, then add all walnuts and gently mix
Pour the batter in prepared cake mould. Bake for 18-25 minutes until done.
Cool cake for 20 minutes, demould the cake and allow to cool completely. Serve As is or frost and serve
