  • 250 gms rava

  • 150 gms chana dal soaked for 3-4 hours

  • 2-3 nos cloves garlic

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 2 nos green chillies (make fine paste)

  • 3 nos beetroot chopped and make juice

  • 1 tsp black pepper


  • Firstly make a dough of Rava with the help of Beetroot juice. In rava add salt and make dough like roti dough and cover with muslin clothes and keep aside.
  • Then make a fine paste of chana dal adding garlic.
  • Now in bowl take Chana dal paste add salt, green chillies paste, red chilli, Turmeric powder and mix it nicely.
  • Meanwhile in big vessels boil water.
  • Now take dough and again knead it. After that take roti size dough and cut into heart shape through cutter and put in one heart one teaspoon Chana dal paste and another one put in it.
  • Then with the help of fork press the sides. You make all hearts like this and put in that warm water vessels slowly slowly and boil them for 10 minutes. You also check with fork.
  • After that you one by one bring out from warm water and let them cool and serve it.
