  • palak 250 gms

  • garlic paste 4 nos

  • onion finally chopped 1 nos

  • green chili finally chopped 2 bowls

  • paneer cubes 200 gms

  • sugar 1 tbsp

  • soda powder 1/2 tsp

  • salt 1 tsp

  • garam masala 1 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp

  • ed chili powder 1 tbsp

  • Tomato finally chopped 2 nos

  • Fresh cream 50 gms

  • Butter 1 tsp

  • Ginger paste 1 tsp

    boil water and add one spoon sugar and soda powder and add bunch of palak leaves separating stems.once the palak changes its colour immediately add the palak leaves containing ice cold water. now make a puree of palak adding ginger, garlic and green chilli. keep the spinach puree aside.

    heat oil/ghee/butter in a pan.add the cumin seeds and bay add the finely chopped onions and garlic.add the finely chopped tomatoes. now add the palak pure and stir well.

    add water as required adjusting the consistency.then add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. simmer for 5 minutes. palak has to cook and thicken. stir well and add fried paneer cubes.

    also remeber to add garam masala powder.cook for a minute or 2. now add a tsp or more of cream and also drizzle a few drops of lemon juice before serving palakserve the palak paneer with roti or chapathi.
