Boil milk in deep pan with bay leaf
Add the washed rice in the milk and continue boiling in medium flame till the rice is cooked
Stir in between so that the milk don’t stick or burn from the bottom of the pan
Add cardamom powder and sugar and boil till the milk reduces to half
Off the flame and let it cool
Roast the chopped fry fruits in ghee and mix it with the ready Payesh or payesam
Serve warm or cold.
