Okra (Ladies finger) - round thinly cut. 1/4 kgs
Shallots - crushed. 8 nos
Garlic - crushed 8 nos
Red chilli (or chillipowder as per taste) - crushed if not powder 8 nos
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Scraped coconut. 3 tbsp
Salt (or as per taste) 1 tsp
Curry leaves 3 nos
Coconut oil 2 tbsp
Heat pan and add crushed Shallots, Garlic, Red chilli (if not chillipowder), and Curry leaves.
Stir until golden brown on low flame.
Add Turmeric powder, Okra (and chillipowder if not crushed red chilli) and stir under medium flame.
Add scraped coconut, stir on low flame and keep it closed for less than 2 minutes.
Add salt and stir under low flame.
Serve with Rice or Chapathi (or with any other main course as per your wish).
