Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 cups acchinga


  • 1-2 nos small onion


  • 1 piece ginger ,small


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp mustard


  • 2-3 nos garlic


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 2-3 nos red chilly


  • 2 tsp chilly powder


  • 1-2 tbsp turmeric powder


  • 1-2 tbsp masala powder


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1/2 cups water

Directions

  • Crush together the coconut, pearl onions, cumin seeds and red chilli powder in a mortar and pestle and keep aside.
  • Heat The Oil In A Kadhai And Add The Mustard Seeds.
  • Once They Splutter, Add The Curry Leaves And The Chopped Yard Long Beans.
  • Add The Turmeric Powder And Salt And Mix Well
  • Sprinkle A Little Water Over It And Cover And Cook Over Medium Heat, Till The Beans Are Cooked
  • This Should Take About 8-10 Mins.
  • Now Add The Crushed Coconut Mixture To This And Mix Well.
  • Remove From Heat And Serve Hot With Rice And Sambar Or Any Other Vegetable Curry.
