Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups jaggery/gud


  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds


  • 1 tbsp chopped cashew nuts


  • 1 tbsp choppped walnuts


  • 2 tsp poppy seeds


  • 2 nos cloves


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp ghee


  • 3 cups water


  • 1 tbsp chopped pistachios

Directions

  • Mix well water and chopped jaggery and later strain it (to remove any impurities)
  • Heat some ghee in a heavy bottom pan , and add cloves amd turmeric powder . Sauté for some time and add all chopped dry fruits and poppy seeds too
  • Sauté till strong aroma strats coming
  • Add jaggery water to it and allow it to boil
  • Simmmer the heat and let it boil for some more time and its ready to serve
  • Harira is rich source of essential oils, vitamins and minerals, good for all, specially given to new moms , elderly persons and keeps body warm in winter season
