Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups oatmeal


  • 1 cups jowar flour


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1 cups warm water approximately

Directions

  • First of all, take oatmeal in grinder and prepare It's power
  • Now in a mixing bowl take oatmeal powder , jowar flour and salt to taste
  • Mix well and prepare a soft dough using warm water and keep covered for some time
  • Take a big ball size dough and knead it again
  • Dust it with some dry flour and roll out bhakari as big as possible
  • Heat a pan and cook bhakari from both sides
  • Later dry roast bhakari directly on flame
  • Apply some oil amd its ready to serve
  • Bhakari is a very healthy gluten free option for roti , chapati or paratha . Its rich in natural fibres.. hence help feel fuller for longer .
  • Bhakari is a rustic kind of food from Maharashtra which is typically served with Thecha (Spicy Kolhapuri Chutney) , onion salad and green chilly .
