Ingredients

  • Almonds 150 gms

  • Pista 15 gms

  • Sugar 150 gms

  • Saffron 1/4 tsp

  • Water 50 ml

  • Milk 20 ml

Directions

    Soak almonds in warm water for 15 minutes

    Remove the skin and dry them in a clean towel under fan

  • 03

    Grind both the pista and badam together into a coarse powder by just whipping the blender

  • 04

    Soak the saffron in warm milk

  • 05

    Make a sugar syrup with 50 ml water and 150 gm sugar. It need not boil for a long time.

    Take off the flame and mix in the coarse almond pista powder.

    Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes

    Spread the sugar ,almond,pista mixture in a greased baking tray evenly and sprinkle the saffron milk uniformly

    Bake at 200 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes. You could feel the nice aroma

    Allow it to cool and when warm slice into required size and shape.
