  • 150 gms almonds

  • 15 gms pista

  • 150 gms sugar

  • 1/4 tsp saffron

  • 50 ml water

  • 20 ml milk


  • Soak almonds in warm water for 15 minutes
  • Remove the skin and dry them in a clean towel under fan
  • Grind both the pista and badam together into a coarse powder by just whipping the blender
  • Soak the saffron in warm milk
  • Make a sugar syrup with 50 ml water and 150 gm sugar. It need not boil for a long time.
  • Take off the flame and mix in the coarse almond pista powder.
  • Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes
  • Spread the sugar ,almond,pista mixture in a greased baking tray evenly and sprinkle the saffron milk uniformly
  • Bake at 200 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes. You could feel the nice aroma
  • Allow it to cool and when warm slice into required size and shape.
