Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Mixed Pistachios and almonds finely chopped 1/2 cups

  • Sugar 1/2 cups

  • Ghee 1 tsp

  • Saffron strands 3-4 nos

  • Cardamoms crushed 1-2 nos

Directions

    Warm ghee in a heavy skillet.

    Add the sugar and work on medium heat

  • 03

    Add 2 to 3 drops of lime juice to the sugar

  • 04

    Sugar will start melting and caramelising. Reduce flame to low

  • 05

    When all the sugar has melted, combine the nuts, saffron and cardamom powder.

    Stir and bring all together to a ball mass.

    Put off flame.

  • 08

    Transfer the ball mass on a greased work surface and roll out quickly as thin as possible.

    Cut into desired shapes and pieces.

    Once cool store in air tight container
