Serves 4

  • Skimmed milk 1 litre

  • Sugar 3/4 cups

  • Choooed Almonds 1 tbsp

  • Chopped Cashew nuts 1 tbsp

  • Chopped fox nut /Makhana/ popped up lotus seeds 2 tbsp

  • Chopped dry dates 1 tbsp

  • Chopped walnuts 1 tbsp

  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

  • Raisins 1 tbsp

  • Ghee/ clarified butter 1/2 tbsp

  • Saffron strands 10 nos

    Take a heavy bottom pan , and allow milk to boil

  • 02

    When it starts boiling add sugar and saffron strands and simmer the heat , and let it boil till it comes to half of its original quantity

    In a separate pan, heat ghee and sauté all the chopped dry fruits till nice aroma comes and lightly golden in colour

    Add all sautéed dry fruits and cardamom powder to reducing milk and cook on low heat for some time

    Switch off the heat and Delicious Dry fruits kheer is ready to serve

    Serve hot or cold ,it tastes equally delicious

    This Dry fruits kheer or paysam is rich source of calcium , vitamins , essential fatty acids, minerals and full of nutrition ,good for all ages and gender . Good for elderly people too

    For elderly people , coarsely crush or powder all dry fruits and then add in boiling kheer .. it's just yum
