Ingredients
Serves 10
aloe vera juice 1 cups
wheat flour 2 cups
gram flour/besan 1 cups
boora sugar or as per taste 2 cups
ghee 1 1/2 cups
finely chopped almonds 1/4 cups
black pepper roughly crushed 1 tsp
Directions
peel off the outer layer of aloe vera and remove the pulpy inner part
wash this pulpy mixture to remove the bitterness and crush in a mixer to a fine puree
heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan
add aloe vera puree and roast it until ghee separates
add wheat flour and besan and roast it on medium flame till it turns brownish
switch off the flame and add chopped almonds and black pepper
when the mixture cools down, add boora sugar and mix thoroughly
you can add boora according to your taste
give shape to the ladoos and enjoy one ladoo daily in winter
