Ingredients

Serves 10

  • aloe vera juice 1 cups

  • wheat flour 2 cups

  • gram flour/besan 1 cups

  • boora sugar or as per taste 2 cups

  • ghee 1 1/2 cups

  • finely chopped almonds 1/4 cups

  • black pepper roughly crushed 1 tsp

Directions

  • 01

    peel off the outer layer of aloe vera and remove the pulpy inner part

  • 02

    wash this pulpy mixture to remove the bitterness and crush in a mixer to a fine puree

  • 03

    heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan

  • 04

    add aloe vera puree and roast it until ghee separates

  • 05

    add wheat flour and besan and roast it on medium flame till it turns brownish

  • 06

    switch off the flame and add chopped almonds and black pepper

  • 07

    when the mixture cools down, add boora sugar and mix thoroughly

  • 08

    you can add boora according to your taste

  • 09

    give shape to the ladoos and enjoy one ladoo daily in winter
