  • 1 cups aloe vera juice

  • 2 cups wheat flour

  • 1 cups gram flour/besan

  • 2 cups boora sugar or as per taste

  • 1 1/2 cups ghee

  • 1/4 cups finely chopped almonds

  • 1 tsp black pepper roughly crushed


  • peel off the outer layer of aloe vera and remove the pulpy inner part
  • wash this pulpy mixture to remove the bitterness and crush in a mixer to a fine puree
  • heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan
  • add aloe vera puree and roast it until ghee separates
  • add wheat flour and besan and roast it on medium flame till it turns brownish
  • switch off the flame and add chopped almonds and black pepper
  • when the mixture cools down, add boora sugar and mix thoroughly
  • you can add boora according to your taste
  • give shape to the ladoos and enjoy one ladoo daily in winter
