Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 cups for dough:wheat flour


  • 1 cups all purpose flour


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 nos water - enough to make a soft dough


  • 2 nos for stuffing :grated mooli (raddish)


  • 1 cups besan


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder


  • 1 tsp lal mirch


  • 1 tsp bharwa masala(optional )


  • 1 tsp kasuri methi

Directions

  • Combine all the ingredients ( AATA ,maida ,salt,oil ) in a bowl and knead in to a soft dough,using a little water if required .now grate mooli after that squeeze of all the water from the grated mooli as much as you can and take it in a bowl.
  • Combine all the spices ( dhaniya powder,jeera,lalmirch ,bharwa masala ,besan)of stuffing along with green coriander and keep a side.
  • Now take a dough small ball and roll it out in to a small circle using dry flour and then take equal amount of dough to make another circle.
  • Spread stuffing on one side of the circle leaving the sides.grease the sides with little water and then place another circle on it and press the sides.now using a rolling pin .roll out the parathe little bigger.
  • Heat anon stick tawa and cook each parathe,using 1/4 teaspoon of oil ,till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.keep aside to cool slightly .
  • Mooli parathe is ready .
