Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 10 nos bread slices


  • 1/2 cups all purpose flour


  • 1 gms sesame seeds for sprinkling


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 2 cups mashed potatoes


  • 1/4 cups finely chopped carrot


  • 1/2 cups chopped onions


  • 1/2 cups chopped capsicum


  • 2 tbsp finely chopped green chillies


  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger


  • 1 tsp finely chopped garlic


  • 1/2 tsp soya sauce


  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  • Combine the plain flour and approx. half cup of water in a bowl.mix well to make a thick paste .keep aside.
  • Cut the bread slices in to approx. 62 mm diameter rounds with the help of cookie cutter .
  • Place 3 bread roundels on a clean dry surface ,place approx.1 tablespoon of the topping over each bread roundels and spread it evenly.
  • Pour a little plain flour water mixer evenly over it .
  • Sprinkle a little sesame seeds over the plain flour water mixture .
  • Repeat step 3-5 to make 7 more gold coins.
  • Heat the oil in a deep nonstick pan and deep fry 3 gold coins at a time ,till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides .
  • Drain on an absorbent paper .
  • Serve with red chilli sauce.
