Heat a heavy bottom kadai on high flame then reduce heat on medium flame.
Put alsi on the pan and dry roast for 2 ? 3 minutes. It will be start cracking and sound comes out, switch off the gas stove.
Take out alsi from pan and cool it down for 5 minutes. Now grind it in chutney jar and make fine powder.
Take 1/3 cup water in a deep bowl , add powder mix well and soak for 10 minutes.
Now add mustard oil, lemon juice, onion, chilly and salt in the mixture. Mix very well. Add little bit water if it is thick.
Serve this tasty and healthy chutney in lunch and dinner as a side dish or pickle.
Mostly people love to eat this chutney with steamed rice.
