Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 4 tbsp alsi


  • 1 nos onion,medium sized finely chopped


  • 2 nos green chilly,to taste finely chopped


  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp mustard oil


  • 1/2 tsp salt to taste


  • 1/3 cups water

Directions

  • Heat a heavy bottom kadai on high flame then reduce heat on medium flame.
  • Put alsi on the pan and dry roast for 2 ? 3 minutes. It will be start cracking and sound comes out, switch off the gas stove.
  • Take out alsi from pan and cool it down for 5 minutes. Now grind it in chutney jar and make fine powder.
  • Take 1/3 cup water in a deep bowl , add powder mix well and soak for 10 minutes.
  • Now add mustard oil, lemon juice, onion, chilly and salt in the mixture. Mix very well. Add little bit water if it is thick.
  • Serve this tasty and healthy chutney in lunch and dinner as a side dish or pickle.
  • Mostly people love to eat this chutney with steamed rice.
