Ingredients

Serves : 1
  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp green chili paste


  • 1 tsp red chili powder


  • 1/2 tsp fennel powder


  • 1/2 tsp aamchur powder


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 cups mashed potatoes


  • 1/ cups green peas(blanched)


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander


  • 1 piece fresh pav


  • 1 tsp butter


  • 1 nos papad(for making pattice crunchy)


  • 1 nos tomato, onion and cucumber ,sliced,each

Directions

  • Take a pan and keep it on medium flame. Add in the oil, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and green chili paste.
  • Mix in the red chili powder, fennel powder, amchur powder, garam masala and coriander powder. Stir well to make the paste.
  • Add the mashed potatoes and green peas. Sprinkle some salt and mix it all well to make the filling.
  • Take a handful of the mixture and shape the filling into a pattice. Coat the pattice in crushed papad to give it a crunchy texture.
  • Shallow fry the pattice till they turn golden brown.
  • Take a heated pan add butter, garam masala, and coriander. Toss the pav in it to give it some flavor. Add in some tomatoes, onions, and cucumber if preferred.
  • Yummy samosa pattice pav is ready to be served.
