Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 8 nos chicken thighs/leg


  • 2 nos lemon(halved)


  • 60 ml olive oil


  • 2 nos onions(sliced)


  • 1/2 sprig coriander leaves(chopped)


  • 2 nos garlic cloves(chopped)


  • 1 pinch dry red chilies flakes


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp paprika


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tbsp lime extract


  • 125 ml yoghurt or curd

Directions

  • In a bowl, whisk marinade ingredients (all except chicken and halved limes) together.
  • Marinate thighs in the refrigerator for 1 hour or more.
  • Preheat barbecue to medium-high.
  • Remove chicken from the marinade, scraping off excess marinade.
  • Grill 7 - 8 minutes per side. Reserve.
  • Toss sliced onions with olive oil and grill 2 minutes per side.
  • Divide chicken among 4 plates and garnish each plate with half a lime, cilantro ,and chilli flakes.
