Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 2 piece medium ripe banana(cubed)


  • 3 nos small onion slice


  • 2 nos green chilies


  • 1 1/2 cups coconut


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp chili powder


  • 3 cups curd


  • 2 tsp sugar


  • 1/2 tsp mustard


  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 2 nos dry red chilies


  • 2 cups water


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1/4 cups coconut oil

Directions

  • Cook the diced banana with turmeric powder, chilli powder and small onions .
  • Grind together coconut, cumin seeds,curry leaves,green chillies and turmeric powder with less water to a smooth paste.
  • Add the curd with coconut paste and give a quick mix.
  • Add the curd coconut mixture to the cooked banana, let it simmer and Stir continuously.
  • Add sugar if you want the curry to be more sweet.
  • Stir continuously and switch off the heat before it starts boiling.
  • Heat coconut oil in a small pan and crackle the mustard seeds,fenugreek,red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Pour it over the curry.
