Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 nos banana(semi ripe)


  • 2 nos green chillies


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt some to taste


  • 1 nos coconut(grated half portion)


  • 1 cups thick curd/yoghurt


  • 1/2 tsp cumins


  • 1/4 tsp fenugreek


  • 6 nos black pepper


  • 4 nos dry red chillies


  • 2 sprig curry leaves


  • 1 pinch sugar

Directions

  • Grind grated coconut,cumins and black pepper to fine powder.
  • Slice the bananas into small pieces.
  • In a vessel, cook it along with salt,green chillies and turmeric powder.
  • Boil the mix along with the fine powder made in first step.
  • Add the thick curd to the mix,stir well and make it well mixed.
  • For seasoning,heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds along with fenugreek,dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Banana Pulissery is ready to be served.
