Mix yeast in sugar diluted water and keep it for 15 minutes,if it is instant yeast you can use it directly.
Grind all the ingredients in mixer grinder for thick batter and keep it aside for minimum 4 hours,so that it will ferment.
The batter should be quite light than dosa batter consistency
Now batter is ready to be cooked,
In a appam pan/kadai, pour laddle full ofthe mix and take pan in hand,thus you can swirl to make desired shape and cook it under closed lid.
If you want to make it tastier, you can drizzle oil or sugar on top of it,this is optional.
Hot Appam is ready to eat.
Try it with egg curry or Kadala(black gram) curry.
