Heat a steel container and make the sugar syrup by adding sugar,water,and the green cardamom pods.
Heat it over medium flame and cook this until 1/2 string consistency or turns little sticky.approx 10 min.
Turn Off flame and keep it aside.
Mix milk powder,maida and baking soda ina wide mouthed bowl.
Add ghee and mix this with your hand so that it will be evenly mixing with milk powder.
Sprinkle the milk evenly over the mix and gently mix this.
Mixture should be soft,it may be sticky.
Do not over mix or knead ,just gently mix this.
Grease your palms with oil and divide the mixture to lemon shaped small portions.if cracks are forming add some milk and again mix this.
Heat ghee/oil for deep frying in a deep kadai in medium flame.
When oil is medium hot,slowly drop 3-4 balls from sides of kadai.
Stir it gently with a spoon and deep fry them over low flame.
Deep fry until golden brown,approx 6-7 min.
Transfer it to kitchen napkin to absorb excess oil.
Heat the sugar syrup and add deep fried jamuns n it.
Kepp this in sugar syrup for min 2 hrs before serving,the jamuns will be increasing size now.
Now its ready to be served.
