Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice powder


  • 15 nos pappadam


  • 4 tsp chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida powder


  • 1 pinch salt some to taste


  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

  • The pappadams should be stiff firstly,for this usually it is kept in sunlight for sometime, here instead I have placed them for refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  • Next for the dip,make paste by adding all the ingredients except pappadams.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, dip each pappadams in this mixture and fry them well.
  • Press frequently for the crispiness, Fry until golden brown.
  • Pappada vada is ready to be served.
