  • 5 nos left over idilies(cold)


  • 2 tbsp tandoori powder


  • 150 ml oil


  • 2 tbsp sauce

Directions

  • Slice the idlis length wise.
  • Sprinkle the Tandoori powder, put these in a box & shake well so that the mix coats well on the idly pieces.
  • Leave this for upto 10-15 minutes.
  • In a pan, shallow fry the idli pieces till both sides are crunchy & crispy.
  • Serve hot with sauce. Note that if you leave it to cool, the pieces may lose crispiness.
  • Other variations can also be tried with left over idlis.
  • Sprinkle and coat with little chilly powder & garam masala powder and fry after sometime.
  • Fry the sliced idly pieces, sprinkle Chutney powder or chatt masala while hot and serve.
  • These can be served with sambar instead of sauce.
