Description

Mushrooms are one of those vegetables which taste the best when made with minimum ingredients and are healthy as well. Here is a simple and tasty side dish recipe with mushroom that can be served as a starter or with rice/roti.

Ingredients

Serves : 1
  • 250 gms button mushrooms


  • 1 nos small/pearl onions


  • 2 nos fresg garlic and long green chilly(sliced)


  • 1 tsp cooking oil


  • 1 pinch fresh ground black and salt to taste


  • 1 pinch chili flakes(optional)

Directions

  • Wash, clean the mushrooms and slice lengthwise.
  • In a frying pan add oil, then add the sliced onion & garlic and saute till light brown. Add the curry leaves.
  • Then add the mushrooms and saute till mushrooms appear brownish.
  • Then add the green chilly, fresh ground pepper, salt and chilli flakes. Saute till onions and pepper are cooked.
  • You can replace the chilly flakes with a small pinch of meat masala, it gives a different flavour. Serve hot.
