Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Green Gram 100 gms

  • onion 1-2 nos

  • Garlic Cloves 2-3 nos

  • Green Chilly 1-2 nos

  • Turmeric 1-2 pinch

  • Chilly Powder 1 pinch

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • For Seasoning:Oil 2-3 tbsp

  • Dry Red Chilies 1-2 nos

  • Curry Leaves 1 sprig

  • Mustard Seeds 1-2 tsp

Directions

    Wash and soak the green gram in water for half an hour.

  • 02

    Pressure cook the green gram with sliced onion, garlic, green chilly, a pinch of turmeric and salt.

  • 03

    In a pan, burst mustard seeds, add sliced onion, dried chilies and curry leave, saute well.

  • 04

    When done, add a pinch of red chilly powder and saute . When the raw smell is give, add the cooked green gram. Add water depending on how thick or thin you want the gravy.

    Serve with Puttu & papad.
