Ingredients

  • 1 cups all purpose flour(these ingredients are for pizza base)


  • 1 1/2 cups fine rava(these ingredients are for pizza base)


  • 2 tsp instant yeast(these ingredients are for pizza base)


  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar(these ingredients are for pizza base)


  • 1 tsp salt(these ingredients are for pizza base)


  • 1/4 cups olive oil(these ingredients are for pizza base)


  • 1 cups warm water(these ingredients are for pizza base)


  • 5 nos ripe fleshy tomatoes(for home made pizza sauce)


  • 4 tbsp garlic(for home made pizza sauce)


  • 1 tbsp jaggery powder(for home made pizza sauce)


  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar(for home made pizza sauce)


  • 1 tsp kashmiri chilly powder(for home made pizza sauce)


  • 1 tsp sugar(for home made pizza sauce)


  • 1 tsp italian herbs(for home made pizza sauce)

Directions

  • For Base:Mix all (fine semolina/rava, instant yeast, sugar,salt ,olive oil, warm water(ingredients 1-8) in a big bowl and knead adding a little more All purpose flour to form soft elastic dough. Cover with a wet towel and allow to rise to double. Punch down and again cover with wet towel and allow it to rise to double. That's the dough.
  • Recipe for home made pizza sauce:In a bowl add, ripe fleshy tomatoes, handful garlic, jaggery powder, apple cider vinegar, Kashmiri chilly powder , sugar and Italian herbs.
  • Grind all in a mixie. Then boil the mix till all water evaporates. Add extra virgin olive oil once taken off the stove.
  • For Stuffed Buns:Take small dough balls and roll them into circles, not too thin, not too thick. First apply, the sauce, then keep the mozzarella and then the shredded chicken fold into a ball, bun shape.

  • Deep fry in hot rice bran oil. Once oil is hot, keep the flame medium. Or else the dough will get brown on the outside, but inside could be still uncooked.
