Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Rice flour 1 cups

  • Coconut Grated 1/3 cups

  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp

  • Black Pepper Crushed 1/2 tsp

  • Salt to taste 1 tsp

  • Oil for deep frying 2 cups

Directions

    Put grated coconut and cumin seeds in a blender then give a pulse.

    In a bowl, add rice flour, blended coconut-cumin mix, crushed black pepper and salt. Mix well and knead it to smooth & soft dough by adding water little by little.

    Divide the dough into small balls.

    Heat oil in a kadai on high flame. When oil is really hot, reduce the flame to low-medium and just flatten each ball in your palm and add to the hot oil. (Wet your hand before flattening the dough).

    Fry the fritters till you find it is crisp. Drain excess oil on a tissue paper.

    Serve hot.
