Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups rice flour


  • 1/3 cups coconut grated


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper crushed


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 2 cups oil for deep frying

Directions

  • Put grated coconut and cumin seeds in a blender then give a pulse.
  • In a bowl, add rice flour, blended coconut-cumin mix, crushed black pepper and salt. Mix well and knead it to smooth & soft dough by adding water little by little.
  • Divide the dough into small balls.
  • Heat oil in a kadai on high flame. When oil is really hot, reduce the flame to low-medium and just flatten each ball in your palm and add to the hot oil. (Wet your hand before flattening the dough).
  • Fry the fritters till you find it is crisp. Drain excess oil on a tissue paper.
  • Serve hot.
