Jack fruit seeds cut into small pieces 2 cups
Shallots 10 nos
Dry Red Chilli 4 nos
Garlic Cloves 5 nos
Curry leaves 4-5 nos
turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Salt ,to taste 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Crush together shallots, garlic, red chilli and keep aside.
Pressure cook the jackfruit seeds adding salt, turmeric powder and enough water (2-3 whistles). Remove the cooker from the heat, let the pressure subside and open the lid. Drain the excess water and keep the jackfruit seeds aside.
Heat oil in a frying pan, splutter mustard seeds.
Add crushed shallots-garlic-red chilli mix, turmeric powder, curry leaves and saut? for 2-3 mins.
Add the jackfruit seeds and mix well. Reduce the heat and cook for 8-10 mins.
Serve hot with boiled Rice.
