Chicken Fried Rice

Description

In this dish, I have not added Ajinomoto. If you want you can add little Ajinomoto to get restaurant flavour.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 4 cups basmati rice (boiled & cooled)


  • 1/2 cups boneless chicken shredded (boiled with little salt and black pepper powder)


  • 2 cups finely chopped mixed vegetables(i used carrot, french beans, capsicum, cabbage)


  • 1 tbsp garlic,finely chopped


  • 3 tbsp spring onion white chopped


  • 2 tbsp spring onion greens chopped


  • 1 nos egg


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder


  • 1-2 tbsp soy sauce


  • 1 pinch salt to taste


  • 2 tbsp oil(i used olive oil)

Directions

  • Heat oil in a wok, add garlic and spring onion white and saut? for a minute.
  • Add mixed vegetables and saute for about two minutes on high flame. Place the vegetables to one side and make a space in the wok to scramble the egg. Add the beaten egg, salt, pepper powder and scramble it well, then mix together with vegetables.
  • Add the shredded chicken and mix well.
  • Add the boiled rice, soy sauce, black pepper powder and mix well and switch off the flame.
  • Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
