Ingredients

Serves 1

  • Boneless chicken cut into small pieces 250 gms

  • Onion,finely chopped 1 nos

  • Ginger & Garlic Chopped 1 tbsp

  • Curry Leaves 2 nos

  • Grated Coconut 1/4 cups

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp

  • Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp

  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp

  • cumin powder 1/4 tsp

  • Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp

  • Oil 1 tsp

Directions

    Mix all the ingredients listed under ?To marinate?. Marinate the chicken with this paste and keep it for 30 min.

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker. Add onion, ginger & garlic, curry leaves.

    Add chicken and close the lid, pressure cook for two whistles on medium flame. Remove the cooker from the heat, let the pressure subside and open the lid.

    Heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan. Add few curry leaves and dry red chili and fry for a second.

    Add grated coconut and fry until golden brown.

    Add cooked chicken pieces and mix well. Reduce the heat to low and cook uncovered until it turns dark and dry, stirring in between.

    Serve hot with Rice/Roti.
