Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 1/2 cups pumpkin


  • 1 cups peas


  • 2 nos onion


  • 7 nos garlic cloves


  • 3 cups milk


  • 2 tsp pepper powder


  • 1/4 cups coriander leaves


  • 2 1/2 cups water


  • 1 tsp salt to taste

Directions

  • Boil de skinned chopped pumpkin along with the peas, onion and garlic for 10 minutes. Let it cool.
  • Blend boiled vegetables in a blender. Add boiled milk to it and salt to taste.
  • Sprinkle freshly ground pepper powder and garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve it with any homemade breads.
  • Healthy oil free pumpkin peas soup is ready with any homemade breads (I prefer homemade breads. I served homemade French Baguette along with this soup).
  • I used whole milk.Fat free milk also can be used according to each individual's taste.
