Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Vermicelli / Semiyya/ Sivaiyya 1 cups

  • Sugar 3/4 cups

  • Almonds 10 nos

  • Cashew nuts 10 nos

  • Raisins 10-15 nos

  • Walnuts 10 nos

  • Ghee 1/2 tbsp

  • Milk 1 litre

  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

Directions

    First of all Roughly chop all the dry fruits

  • 02

    Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan and sauté all dry fruits on heat heat till changes colour , remove them

  • 03

    Now in the same ghee , saute semiyya or vermicelli till golden brown and milk

  • 04

    Mix well amd cook on low heat till vermicelli become soft

  • 05

    Let it cook on low heat till 3/4 th of its original quantity

    Now in a separate pan , add sugar and let it melt

  • 07

    After a while , it will start caramelizing

  • 08

    Once sugar turns golden in colour add sauteed dry fruits and mix well

  • 09

    Now add this caramelised sugar n dry fruits mixture to boiling kheer or paysam

  • 10

    Add cardamom powder and mix well let it Cook for some more time

  • 11

    Serve hot or cold it tastes equally delicious amd enjoy endlessly
