Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3/4 cups brewed coffee ( twist)


  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour


  • .3/4 cups chopped dates


  • 1/4 cups chopped nuts


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 2 tbsp soft butter


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • 1 nos egg


  • 18/2 tsp vanilla extract


  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180. Grease loaf pan
  • Sieve dry ingredients and keep it aside
  • Beat Sugar and butter with hand mixer. Add egg and blend until mixture is pale and frothy. Add dates, nuts, vanilla extract and mix well
  • Add hot brewed coffee and dry ingredients alternatively to the wet batter. Cut and fold gently. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan
  • Bake for 25-35 minutes until done. Allow to cool completely. Cut and serve the yummilicious cake
