Preheat oven to 180. Grease loaf pan
Sieve dry ingredients and keep it aside
Beat Sugar and butter with hand mixer. Add egg and blend until mixture is pale and frothy. Add dates, nuts, vanilla extract and mix well
Add hot brewed coffee and dry ingredients alternatively to the wet batter. Cut and fold gently. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan
Bake for 25-35 minutes until done. Allow to cool completely. Cut and serve the yummilicious cake
