Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups idly rice


  • 1/2 cups toor daal


  • 1/2 cups channa daal


  • 1/4 cups moong daal


  • 5 nos red chillies


  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds


  • 2 cups bottle gourd,cubed


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 sprig curry leaves


  • 1 sprig coriander leaves

Directions

  • Wash and soak the rice,dals,red chillies,fennel seeds together for 2 hours
  • Grind it along with the cubed bottle gourd and salt into a course consistency
  • Collect it in a container and add little water to adjust to dosa batter consistency
  • No need of fermentation
  • Prepare the adais like dosas with gingelly oil
  • Serve hot with butter/ jaggery or hot spicy chutneys
