Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1/4 cups honey


  • 1 cups water


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 1 tsp cloves powder


  • 1 tsp black pepper


  • 1 tsp dried ginger powder


  • 1 tsp liquorice powder


  • 2 tsp lemon juice


  • 1/2 tsp paan bahar(for mint)

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients (except paan bahar) in a pan.
  • Cook it on high flame till sugar dissolves.
  • After dissolving the sugar now cook at low flame till hard crack stage.
  • Stir continuously.
  • For testing - IN a bowl add water and pour one drop. if it cracks it is ready.
  • Remove from heat and add paan bahar mix well.
  • Pour the mixture in silicone mould and let it cool.
  • Remove the honey cough shells from moulds.
  • Store the honey cough shells in an airtight container.
