Ingredients

Serves 4

  • rice 1 cups

  • green moong dal 1 1/2 cups

  • chopped vegetables like (cauliflower,brinjal,potatoes,green peas) 2 cups

  • spinach leaves 1 cups

  • ginger,garlic,chilly paste 3 tsp

  • teaspoon turmaric powder 1/2 tsp

  • water 3 cups

  • salt 1 tsp

  • chopped spring garlic 1 tbsp

  • desi ghee 1 tbsp

  • ghee 2 tbsp

  • oil 1 tbsp

  • mustard seeds 1/2 tsp

  • atsafetida 1/2 tsp

Directions

    Wash dal and rice for 2 times and soak it for 15 min.

    In a pressure cooker add oil and ghee add mustard seeds,

    Add asafetida,add kari parts,add hinge,chilly,garlic paste

  • 04

    Add all chopped vegetables and chopped spinach

  • 05

    Cook for 5 min.

    Then add salt,turmeric powder and soaked dal,rice,

    Now add water and coverit

  • 08

    Make 3 whistle

  • 09

    Now cool it

  • 10

    Serve it in serving dish and garnish with chopped spring garlic,1 tablespoon ghee,and roasted red chilly
