Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups rice


  • 1 1/2 cups green moong dal


  • 2 cups chopped vegetables like (cauliflower,brinjal,potatoes,green peas)


  • 1 cups spinach leaves


  • 3 tsp ginger,garlic,chilly paste


  • 1/2 tsp teaspoon turmaric powder


  • 3 cups water


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp chopped spring garlic


  • 1 tbsp desi ghee


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tsp atsafetida

Directions

  • Wash dal and rice for 2 times and soak it for 15 min.
  • In a pressure cooker add oil and ghee add mustard seeds,
  • Add asafetida,add kari parts,add hinge,chilly,garlic paste
  • Add all chopped vegetables and chopped spinach
  • Cook for 5 min.
  • Then add salt,turmeric powder and soaked dal,rice,
  • Now add water and coverit
  • Make 3 whistle
  • Now cool it
  • Serve it in serving dish and garnish with chopped spring garlic,1 tablespoon ghee,and roasted red chilly
