Transfer the peanut butter into a saucepan and heat on medium low heat.Once the peanut butter has melted, add the honey, give it a good mix and remove from heat.
Meanwhile, mix the muesli, oats and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl.To this dry mixture, add the melted peanut-butter honey mixture and stir well until thoroughly mixed.
If you feel the mixture is too dry, add some honey or more melted peanut butter or pop it into the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
Roll into balls or any shape of your choice of size and enjoy these energy bites for breakfast, as a mid morning snack or as a treat in your or your kids’ lunch box.
You can make it totally with oats or muesli.Cornflakes also are a good option, but you may have to crush it a bit.
To make it crispier, you can roast the oats for a few minutes in a dry saucepan.
Feel free to use any nuts, raisins, dry fruits etc including maybe chocolate chip; adjust the amount of peanut butter and honey accordingly.Store in refrigerator to maintain freshness.
