Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups raw rice


  • 1/2 cups moong dal


  • 3 1/2 cups water


  • 3/4 cups jaggery


  • 1 pinch cardamom powder


  • 7 nos cashews


  • 4 tbsp ghee


  • 1 cups honey

Directions

  • Wash rice and dal together and soak in the appropriate amount of water.
  • Then Cook Cooker For 3 Vissle And 5 Minutes In Slow Flame
  • Mean Time ..Prepare Jaggery Solution.... Add Water To Immerse Jaggery.... Not More Than That...
  • Heat To Dissolve... Filter And Keep Aside.
  • Open Cooker ...Smash Rice And Dal Inside.....Then Addhoney And Jaggery Solution ...Mix Well
  • Again Cook For One Vissle.... Now Heat A Kadai.
  • Add Ghee ...When It Dissolves....Add Cashew... Wait Till Golden Brown
  • Add To The Pongal Prepared.....Add Cardamom Powder .....Mix Well And Serve Hot. Happy Pongal
