Ingredients

Serves : 1
  • 3/4 cups ragi/nachni


  • 1/4 cups oats


  • 3-4 nos almonds


  • 1/4 cups jaggery


  • 1/2 - 1 cups water / milk as per consistency desired

Directions

  • Dry roast oats and blend it a mixture
  • Dry roast the ragi/ nachni flour and mix it with oats
  • Mix the above mixture with water or milk as per your desired consistency
  • Heat on flame for 10 mins stirring continuously to ensure no lumps are formed
  • Add more water if needed
  • Mix in the jaggery and stir the porridge continuously ensuring the jaggery melts
  • Remove the mixture from the flame
  • Blend the almond to dry powder and mix it it with the above mixture
  • Serve the porridge hot
