Fish 500 gms
green chillies or as per your taste 5 nos
Medium Tomatoes,chopped 2 nos
Fermented Bamboo Shoots 1 tbsp
ginger 1 inch
Garlic Cloves 5-6 nos
Salt as per your taste 1 tbsp
Water 3 cups
Chopped Coriander Leaves 1/4 cups
In a mortar and pestle coarsely ground the green chillies, ginger and garlic, just crush them enough to open the flavour.
In a pot add the fish, bamboo shoots, tomatoes, salt and the coarsely grounded mixture.
Add water and cook for about 15 mins.
Add chopped coriander leaves, give a quick gently stir and take off the heat.
Enjoy with piping hot steamed rice.
