Description

A healthy and scrumptious zero oil dish. This dish is from my cuisine Naga cuisine. The food from Nagaland and neighbouring states are considered the healthiest food. Try this easy and quick to make nutritious and protein packed dish, I am sure you like it.

Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Fish 500 gms

  • green chillies or as per your taste 5 nos

  • Medium Tomatoes,chopped 2 nos

  • Fermented Bamboo Shoots 1 tbsp

  • ginger 1 inch

  • Garlic Cloves 5-6 nos

  • Salt as per your taste 1 tbsp

  • Water 3 cups

  • Chopped Coriander Leaves 1/4 cups

Directions

    In a mortar and pestle coarsely ground the green chillies, ginger and garlic, just crush them enough to open the flavour.

    In a pot add the fish, bamboo shoots, tomatoes, salt and the coarsely grounded mixture.

    Add water and cook for about 15 mins.

  • 04

    Add chopped coriander leaves, give a quick gently stir and take off the heat.

  • 05

    Enjoy with piping hot steamed rice.
